Salatiga, an earthly paradise
n this occasion, I would like to talk about Salatiga. Salatiga is a small city in Indonesia. The location of Salatiga it self is in Merbabu's mountainside, so that the air is cool. However, in recent times it's becoming lack of cool comparing with previous years, I thinks this is as the impact of Global warning. In Salatiga, we can find out many of food and drink stand which is offering food and drink that will awakening the desire. We can see that many of domestic tourist come to Salatiga to taste of some food and drink. One of the most special drink is called "wedang ronde". Wedang ronde is a warm drink where as contains of ginger. This drink is very suitable for the cool air like Salatiga. While for the food, basically same as other places in Indonesia. The difference in only on the taste. Besides that, we have an International School. Many foreigner come to Salatiga to study in that school. Moreover, many of them finally decided to have a family and live for a long time in Salatiga. In Salatiga, there's some community where many of that foreigner lived in. Delicious food and drink, cool air, peaceful situation and also far from demonstration making Salatiga to be the one of favorite place for tourist to visit and even lived in for a long time. Although currently I'm working and living in Semarang (another city in Indonesia), but then I always missing to return back to Salatiga. For me, Salatiga is an earthly paradise and the perfect place to live and having a happy family
